DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, the coder performs in-depth complex daily CPT, HCPC and ICD10 coding of inpatient, outpatient and clinical charge documents received from physicians for Anesthesiology , Pain Management and Critical Care procedures. The coder is responsible to accurately interpret notes/diagnoses and to convert them into CPT/HCPC/ICD10 codes as appropriate in order to fully capture all billable services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).</li><li>Must have three (3) years of coding experience (Anesthesia coding).</li><li>Strong skills in CPT, ICD-10-CM, & HCPCS professional coding applications.</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Anesthesia, Pain Management and Critical Care Coding experience.</li><li>Toxicology / Wound Care experience.</li><li>CANPC certification.</li><li>Experience with Epic.</li></ul>SPECIAL CONDITIONS<ul><li>Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.</li><li>Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.</li></ul> Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $78,175 - $103,105 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $37.44 - $49.38 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
