The Field Technician is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures. What you’ll do: <ul><li>Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting</li><li>Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams</li><li>Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results </li></ul>Salary & Benefits Information: This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: <ul><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record</li><li>Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed</li><li>Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance</li><li>Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound</li><li>Ability to kneel and squat occasionally</li><li>Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures</li><li>Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights</li><li>Ability to work over night hours and off shift </li></ul>Preferred Requirements & Qualifications: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>6 months of experience in construction materials / density testing</li><li>ACI Certification </li></ul>Intertek: Total Quality.
