Progressive Technology is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader/Editor â€“ Freelance English Content to join our growing team of remote professionals. In this role, you will review, edit, and enhance written materials for clarity, grammar, tone, and accuracy. Key Responsibilities

Proofread and edit content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, consistency, and style.
Ensure tone and language align with the target audience and project brief.
Rewrite or restructure text where necessary to improve clarity and readability.
Adhere to internal and client-specific editorial guidelines.
Collaborate with content writers, designers, and digital marketing teams to deliver polished final outputs.
Provide constructive feedback to content creators when applicable.
Maintain a consistent turnaround time while managing multiple projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Excellent command of written English, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
Proven ability to edit various content types (articles, blogs, web copy, academic, etc.).
Familiarity with style guides (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) is a strong plus.

Experience
