As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Albany, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants, and communicate clearly with team members and local contacts. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site leadership.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
