Field-based role with remote and on site working

Salary: £31,000 to £32,000 plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Fixed Term Contract 15-months, Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

As a Specialist Progression Coach in our newly established Confident Futures team (expected to start in October 2026), you’ll support unemployed participants with long-term health conditions, mental health conditions, or disabilities to overcome barriers to employment and move towards sustainable work. Through personalised coaching and tailored support, you’ll help people rebuild confidence, develop employability skills, and take positive steps towards a brighter future.

What You’ll Do As a Specialist Progression Coach
  • Manage a caseload of participants, providing tailored coaching and support throughout their employment journey.
  • Complete holistic needs assessments and develop personalised support plans that reflect individual goals, circumstances, and needs.
  • Identify barriers to employment and connect participants with appropriate health, wellbeing, training, community, and specialist support services.
  • Deliver one-to-one coaching, including CV support, job searching, interview preparation, and confidence-building activities.
  • Build relationships with local employers to identify inclusive employment opportunities and support participants into suitable roles.
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing outcomes while ensuring services are delivered in line with contract requirements and quality standards.

Vetting And Checks

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements.

You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
