The warehouse checker works with warehouse employees to check and inspect that all orders are received, picked, packed and shipped in an accurate, timely and safe manner following company established procedures; efficiently and safely transports, sorts and stocks new product while maintaining inventory controls utilizing proper procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures that all product is properly loaded and unloaded following C-TPAT Security procedures.
- Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator.
- Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Ensures that product is picked, packed, and shipped per established procedures.
- Conducts physical inventory counts
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
- Participates in quality improvement efforts.
- Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
1. One to two years related experience or equivalent.
2. Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.

Work Environment

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with some overtime as required.
