We have an opportunity for a Advanced Practice Physiotherapist - Outpatients to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a part-time role for 32.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for patients with complex presentations, including advanced clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis.
Deliver evidence-based treatment plans, incorporating advanced therapeutic techniques and, where appropriate, requesting and interpreting diagnostic imaging.
Work autonomously, often as a first contact practitioner, referring to other healthcare professionals where necessary.
Act as a clinical lead and role model within the physiotherapy team, supporting best practice and professional standards.
Contribute to the strategic development and delivery of advanced physiotherapy services, including pathway redesign and integration.
Lead and participate in service audits, clinical governance, and outcome monitoring to drive quality improvement.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
Significant post-registration experience, including advanced musculoskeletal or specialist physiotherapy practice.
Postgraduate training relevant to advanced practice (e.g. MSc, PGCert, or equivalent).
Advanced clinical reasoning, assessment, and decision-making skills.
Experience working autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams.
Independent Prescriber or training towards prescribing.
Experience in requesting and interpreting diagnostic imaging.
Involvement in audit, service improvement, or research.
