This is a high-powered team with diverse perspectives composed of former investment banking and private equity professionals. The role requires a strong understanding of core corporate finance, capital markets, and corporate strategy. <br><br>You will assist with the company’s short-term and long-term financial forecasting, key metric analysis, and financial reporting. Willow Wealth is creating access to alternative investment opportunities historically unavailable to most individual investors.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Gain a deep understanding of business drivers and fundamentals to help solve complex business problems throughout the company</li><li>Assist with forecasting and financial planning for the company, maintaining and improving long-term consolidated company forecast model</li><li>Serve as operational finance partner to business teams around the organization, helping to define key metrics that will drive our business, measure our progress, and provide key financial insights</li><li>Provide monthly financial reporting and insights, cost tracking, and KPI reporting to different teams across the company and the Board</li><li>Play a key role in the annual budgeting process and monthly budget to actual reporting </li><li>Assist the Executive Team on Board-level communications, including quarterly reporting packages and ad hoc analyses </li><li>Support the Executive Team on corporate development and capital markets initiatives, including potential future capital raising, M&A, and warehouse financing </li><li>Utilize data analytics to derive key insights on business performance </li><li>Utilize AI to develop systems, processes, and tools that enable accurate, scalable, and timely financial reporting and forecasting <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>2-4 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or strategic finance </li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field </li><li>Microsoft Excel mastery required (with experience in building financial models, analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports) </li><li>Heightened attention to detail – must be meticulous and consistently accurate </li><li>Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills </li><li>Team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills </li><li>High degree of intellectual curiosity with exceptional work ethic, and a can do/will do attitude </li><li>Self-motivated, with proven success thriving in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment </li><li>Experience with data analysis tools (Looker, Tableau, SQL) is a plus <br><br></li></ul><strong>What's In It For You<br><br></strong>Competitive compensation package, including equity<br><br>Health, dental & vision coverage with FSA/HSA options<br><br>Unlimited PTO<br><br>401k match<br><br>Commuter benefit<br><br>Life insurance<br><br>Wellness stipend<br><br>This is a New York-based role. The base salary range for this position is USD 125,000 to 150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity compensation as part of the total compensation package.
