# Facebook Ads Manager + Creative Strategist — Roofing & Home Services

We are looking for an experienced **Facebook/Meta Ads freelancer** to help manage paid social campaigns for roofing and gutter companies.

**This is NOT an agency position.** We are specifically looking for an individual freelancer who will work with us hourly and become part of our team.

We will start with **one account/project**. If it's a good fit, we have **8+ additional companies/accounts** that we can bring over. This has the potential to grow into a significant number of hours or even a full-time role.

## What We Need

There are two parts to this role:

**1. Meta Ads Management**

You should be comfortable owning the day-to-day management of Meta campaigns, including:

* Campaign setup and structure

* Budget management

* Testing

* Optimization

* Retargeting

* Lead generation campaigns

* Tracking performance

* Identifying what is and isn't working

* Reporting actionable insights, not just metrics

Our clients are primarily **roofing and gutter companies**, so experience with home services or local lead generation is a major plus.

**2. Creative Strategy — THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART**

This is where we've struggled to find the right person.

We do NOT need you to personally design every graphic or edit every video.

**We can produce the creatives.**

What we need is someone who can tell us **what creatives we should be producing and why.**

For example:

* What hooks should we test?

* What offers should we test?

* What should the first 3 seconds of a video be?

* What scripts should our companies record?

* What customer pain points should we build ads around?

* What angles are working?

* What needs to change when an ad stops performing?

* What variations should we create from a winning ad?

* What photos/video should we ask the roofing company to capture?

* What should our designer/editor actually make next?

You should be able to review the account and turn performance data into an **actionable creative plan**.

We don't want someone who simply says, "We need more creatives."

We want someone who says:

*"This angle is getting the best response. Let's make three variations of it. Here's the hook for each one, here's the script, here's the footage we need from the client, and here's what I want the editor to produce."*

That ability is extremely important to us.

## What We're Looking For

* Individual freelancer, **not an agency**

* Strong Meta/Facebook Ads experience

* Experience generating leads, not just e-commerce sales

* Strong understanding of creative testing

* Able to write/direct ad scripts and hooks

* Comfortable giving designers/editors specific creative direction

* Analytical enough to use performance data to determine what to test next

* Organized enough to manage multiple accounts as the role grows

* Strong communication

* Available for ongoing hourly work

Experience with **roofing, gutters, HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, solar, or other local home-service businesses** is a big advantage.

## Opportunity

We'll begin with **one roofing/gutter account** so we can see how we work together.

If things go well, we have **8+ additional accounts/projects** we can potentially add.

We are looking for someone we can build a long-term relationship with, not someone to complete a one-time campaign.

This could eventually become a **full-time position** for the right person.

## When Applying

Please keep your response relatively short and answer these questions:

1. Are you an individual freelancer or part of an agency?

2. What is your hourly rate?

3. Tell me about your experience running Meta Ads for local lead-generation businesses.

4. Have you worked with roofing, gutters, or other home-service companies?

5. **Give me one example of how you've used ad performance to decide what creative should be produced next.**

6. If I gave you a roofing company with existing photos/videos but poor Facebook Ads performance, what would you want to look at first?

Please answer these yourself rather than sending a generic or AI-generated proposal.

I'm much more interested in seeing **how you think about Meta creative strategy** than receiving a long list of certifications.
