About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Programmatic Strategist (Contractor) to own campaign execution, optimization, and reporting across a portfolio of client accounts, working primarily in StackAdapt across Display, Native, Video, CTV, Audio, and Retargeting. In your first few months, you'll stabilize active accounts, clean up Google Merchant Center feeds, and tighten GA4/GTM tracking ahead of peak eCommerce season.

What You’ll Do

• Own the strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization of programmatic advertising programs across assigned client accounts
• Develop and execute data-driven strategies across multiple accounts to achieve growth goals, supported by audits, performance reviews, and competitive analysis
• Build, launch, and optimize campaigns within StackAdapt across Display, Native, Video, CTV, Audio, DOOH, and Retargeting
• Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, budgets, frequency, viewability, and overall performance
• Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues and proactively recommend optimizations
• Develop audience targeting strategies using first-party data, contextual targeting, behavioral audiences, geofencing, retargeting, and lookalike audiences
• Translate campaign performance into strategic recommendations that help clients grow revenue, improve lead quality, and identify new opportunities
• Assist with monthly reporting by identifying key insights, trends, and optimization opportunities
• Support creative testing initiatives by evaluating messaging, formats, and inventory performance
• Stay current on programmatic best practices, platform updates, AI capabilities, and emerging media opportunities
• Leverage GTM and GA4 to ensure accurate conversion tracking, event tagging, and performance measurement

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing programmatic advertising campaigns, preferably in an agency environment
• Strong experience with StackAdapt (preferred) or other DSPs including DV360, The Trade Desk, Basis, etc.
• Experience launching and optimizing Display, Native, Video, Connected TV, Audio, and Retargeting campaigns
• Strong understanding of audience targeting strategies including contextual, behavioral, CRM, geofencing, and first-party audiences
• Experience creating client-ready reporting and communicating performance recommendations
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Hands-on experience with GA4, GTM, and GMC
• Proven success managing eCommerce campaigns
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Comfort working across multiple accounts and industries simultaneously, with a calm, organized, and proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment

• Experience supporting Google Ads campaigns
• Experience with Looker Studio and automated reporting solutions
• Experience with premium inventory, private marketplace (PMP) buying, or advanced measurement solutions
