Advanced Health Institute is recruiting for a strong MDS nurse to join our consulting team. We currently have a Part Time position available that can lead to full time

Remote and On site with client approach!

Duties -

Function as an advisor for healthcare agencies and facilities
Maintain current on professional standards of nursing care, federal and state statutes / regulations
Provide professional, quality-driven services, including but not limited to mock surveys, education, research, analysis of healthcare systems and processes, creative problem-solving and recommendations, and written presentations to clients
Assist clients with assessing, planning, developing and implementing systems, processes, and other needs as requested
Consult and provide technical or interim management assistance to providers as requested by the client
Identify training needs; plan and conduct training/in-services as requested
Develop MDS / Reimbursement service line within AHI
Maintain client confidentiality and function within HIPAA regulations

Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (preferred, but not required).

Two-Five years experience in the areas of MDS, PDPM and reimbursement in long-term facility
Active and unrestricted state R.N. licensure.
Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing, medical practices, laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care/TCU.
ANACC Certification preferred.
