Job Description:

• Create, develop, lead, and maximize the Asset Protection function for ALO sanctuaries across assigned Central United States districts
• Partner with regional Asset Protection counterparts, Retail Operations leadership, and the Director of Asset Protection and Safety
• Analyze shrink results and develop strategies addressing theft, fraud, and operational errors
• Drive shrink-reduction goals and communicate Asset Protection initiatives to field leadership and store teams
• Assess high-shrink and high-risk sanctuaries and develop measurable action plans
• Conduct risk, site-vulnerability, and security assessments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual Asset Protection summaries and KPI trend analyses
• Leverage POS data, inventory reporting, RFID, CCTV, case-management systems, AI-enabled tools, and other analytics to identify loss and risk trends
• Conduct internal and external theft, fraud, organized retail crime, cash loss, merchandise loss, and integrity investigations
• Conduct interviews and prepare investigative reports, findings, and recommendations
• Partner with Retail Operations, People & Culture, Legal, law enforcement, and industry organizations
• Manage physical-security systems, training, third-party security providers, post orders, and security resources
• Support new sanctuary openings with security assessments, system readiness, and Asset Protection training
• Respond to incidents involving theft, violence, threats, cash shortages, vandalism, robbery, burglary, severe weather, civil unrest, and other emergencies
• Coach and educate store teams on Asset Protection, theft prevention, operational controls, fraud prevention, workplace safety, and incident reporting
• Serve as a liaison with law enforcement, government agencies, security professionals, and retail-industry partners
• Promote integrity, accountability, safety, and responsible technology use

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and professional experience in retail Asset Protection, loss prevention, investigations, law enforcement, private security, risk management, or a related discipline
• Minimum of five years of multi-unit, field-based Asset Protection or loss-prevention experience
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience supporting multiple locations
• Demonstrated experience conducting internal and external theft, fraud, and integrity investigations
• Strong analytical ability with experience translating reporting and data into practical loss-reduction and risk-mitigation strategies
• Demonstrated curiosity and proficiency in using AI-enabled technology to enhance analysis, investigations, productivity, and strategic decision-making
• Ability to assess AI-generated information critically and apply sound professional judgment
• Excellent written, verbal, interviewing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels and with external partners
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and operate independently in a fast-paced organization
• Ability to handle sensitive and difficult situations discreetly, objectively, and diplomatically
• Proficiency with Asset Protection applications, CCTV platforms, POS reporting, RFID, case-management tools, Shopify, and Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with applicable Canadian privacy, surveillance, security, employment, and workplace-safety requirements is preferred
• Ability to work cooperatively with company personnel, third-party security providers, and law-enforcement partners
• Ability to learn new technologies, skills, methodologies, and industry best practices
• Ability to respond to store emergencies and maintain a high degree of accessibility
• Ability to travel extensively throughout Central DFW, including overnight and weekend travel, up to approximately 80% of the time
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
