UGC Content Creator

We're looking for a UGC Content Creator to create engaging, authentic, and high-performing video content for our digital platforms. You'll bring ideas and scripts to life through creative storytelling, character interpretation, visual hooks, and attention-grabbing content designed to connect with our audience.

This is a great opportunity for a creative content creator who understands social media, enjoys being on camera, and knows how to turn scripts and ideas into compelling short-form video content.

What you'll do

  • Create engaging UGC-style video content for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and other digital channels.

  • Follow provided scripts and confidently bring different characters, scenarios, and concepts to life on camera.

  • Develop and adapt scripts when needed to make content feel natural, engaging, and appropriate for the platform.

  • Produce creative content beyond standard talking-head videos, using different locations, characters, props, camera angles, transitions, and storytelling techniques.

  • Use strong visual, verbal, and viral hooks to capture viewers' attention within the first few seconds.

  • Research social media trends, viral content formats, and emerging UGC styles and apply relevant ideas to new content.

  • Record high-quality video and audio using appropriate camera, lighting, and microphone equipment.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective UGC concepts.

  • Record multiple variations of content, hooks, scripts, and calls to action for testing.

  • Incorporate feedback and make revisions to content when required.

  • Maintain consistent quality and meet agreed content deadlines.

What we're looking for

  • Strong on-camera presence and confidence communicating naturally on video.

  • Ability to follow scripts while delivering lines naturally rather than sounding scripted.

  • Ability to interpret and portray different characters, personalities, and scenarios.

  • Strong understanding of UGC and short-form video content.

  • Experience creating content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms.

  • Understanding of visual hooks, viral hooks, storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to turn simple concepts into engaging videos.

  • Strong camera and microphone quality suitable for professional content creation.

  • Ability to independently plan and record content.

  • Strong spoken and written English communication.

  • American accent preferred.

  • Availability to work and collaborate during Chicago business hours (Central Time).

Nice to have

  • Previous experience creating UGC for technology, SaaS, B2B, trucking, logistics, or transportation brands.

  • A dedicated home studio or professional content creation setup.

  • Access to a green screen and appropriate lighting equipment.

  • Access to relevant filming locations such as trucks, truck stops, gas stations, warehouses, garages, or logistics environments.

  • Experience developing scripts or contributing creative concepts for UGC campaigns.

  • Experience creating paid social media advertisements or performance marketing content.

  • Basic video editing skills.

  • Familiarity with content performance metrics and A/B testing different hooks, formats, and calls to action.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of UGC content creation experience, ideally working with technology or B2B brands.

  • A portfolio or examples of previous UGC/video content demonstrating strong on-camera ability and creativity.

  • Reliable camera, microphone, lighting, and internet setup for producing high-quality content remotely.

  • Ability to create more than traditional talking-head videos and confidently experiment with characters, locations, props, and creative formats.

  • Ability to follow creative direction, scripts, and brand guidelines while maintaining an authentic UGC style.

  • Reliable availability during Chicago working hours.

What we offer

  • Fully remote work.

  • Opportunity to create content for a fast-growing technology company.

  • Creative freedom to experiment with different UGC concepts and formats.

  • Opportunity to work on diverse campaigns and content styles.

  • Collaborative and fast-moving team.

  • Opportunity to develop your portfolio and grow your content creation skills.

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
