Location:Open to applicants worldwide.

Work Format:Fully remote, independent contractor role.

About the Role

We're building the social presence for a newly launched wellness brand from the ground up. You'll serve as the strategic social media expert and copywriter, building a content engine that turns complex health concepts into engaging, relatable social posts. Your mission: drive brand awareness, grow email signups, and build audience trust—while keeping founder involvement minimal.

What You'll Do

Strategy & Content Planning: Build and manage a monthly social content calendar across Instagram, Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.

Creative Direction: Take founder insights and raw ideas, then develop clear content concepts, hooks, and structured shot lists that guide what to film and why.

Copywriting: Write engaging hooks, video text overlays, captions, and hashtags optimized for health and wellness audiences.

Community Engagement: Be the active voice of the brand in comments and direct messages, building genuine audience connection (approximately 2–3 hours per week, on your own schedule).

Performance Analysis: Review monthly data to refine strategy and share insights with the team.

Team Communication: Collaborate with the founder and team via team chat app.

Key Deliverables

Monthly content calendar with concepts for approximately 20 posts (primarily Instagram, adapted for TikTok and YouTube Shorts)

Creative direction and shot lists for video content

Weekly copy: captions, scripts, text overlays, and hashtags

Community management and audience outreach

Monthly performance report with actionable recommendations

Skills/background needed

Strong copywriting ability—you write warm, engaging, persuasive captions and scripts that feel authentic and convert.

Social media strategy knowledge—you understand how to plan content calendars, use analytics to refine strategy, and build sustainable posting schedules.

Familiarity with wellness, health, or nutrition spaces (lived experience or professional background).

Comfort translating complex or technical information into clear, engaging social content.

Experience managing multiple social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).

Basic graphic design or video editing skills using tools like Canva (helpful but not required).

Ability to work independently once onboarded, with minimal day-to-day management.

Understanding of regulatory requirements for wellness and health claims (or willingness to learn).

What We're Looking For

You're a strategic thinker who can push back when something isn't working for social, rather than simply executing instructions. You have a point of view and aren't afraid to share it.

You're genuinely interested in the wellness space and understand why this mission matters.

You know how to write hooks that stop the scroll without being clickbait, and you build trust through credible, expert-backed content rather than hype.

You love working with data and analytics—you know what drives engagement, saves, and shares.

Important:You must operate as a registered business entity (such as an LLC or Corporation) or registered Sole Proprietorship with a valid business license where required, and/or hold an EIN.

Full training provided:We'll onboard you completely into the brand voice, scientific background, and vision. You'll receive a robust strategy guide to drive your work independently from there.

Why You'll Love This:Work from anywhere on a flexible schedule. Build something from the ground up alongside a passionate founder. Grow your portfolio with a brand-new wellness launch. No micromanagement—once ramped up, you run your own calendar.
