Through a structured training program, trainees will master strategic sourcing processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management while contributing to cost reduction initiatives. For certain positions, including this one, employees can work one day per week remotely. Travel is minimal, must have reliable transportation to and from work.Relocation is required if located more than 50 miles from the location.Training will start with a week orientation in Fort Worth, Texas, offering a company overview and networking with leaders. This will be followed by support on ongoing projects and practical training with the department. Key responsibilities may include: Following the orientation, trainees receive on-the-job training according to their assigned group. Interact with internal customers and suppliers regarding required specifications pricing, availability, and delivery of ad hoc/non-catalog procurement requests. Perform necessary systematic corrective action on issues related to supplier purchase orders or contract non-compliance. Support service and material buyers with ad hoc reporting and special project assistance. Maintain contract management in the execution of accurate and timely agreements. Possess leadership, teamwork, clear communication, adaptability, and resilience to overcome obstacles and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
