Warehouse Associate

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team at our Las Vegas, NV location. Position: Rework - 2nd Shift

Scheduled: Monday - Friday 4:00PM - 12:30AM (With overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed)

Wage: $19.00 Base Rate + $2.00 Shift Differential

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to stand and lift 10-50lbs. throughout the entire shift.
• Rebuild pallets of cartons, systematically processing damaged/stained cartons, emptying and repacking cartons when goods are damaged.
• Ensure pallets are properly labeled/placarded
• Operate a RF scanner to process and receive inventory, as well as utilizing the facility\'s WMS system to systematically process damaged/reworked inventory.
• Assist with building housekeeping and recovery including but not limited to facility housekeeping, emptying trash cans/wood bins
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• No prior warehouse experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
