Monitor and analyze network traffic and security logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities. Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats and trends, and proactively assess and implement new security measures. Act as a subject matter expert on cyber security best practices and provide guidance and training to team members. Manage and maintain security systems and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies. Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness in the event of a cyber attack. Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and providing recommendations for remediation. Monitor and maintain compliance with internal security policies and procedures. Communicate and report on the state of cyber security to key stakeholders, including senior management. Identify and recommend improvements to existing security processes and procedures. Conduct regular security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to enhance cyber security capabilities. Conduct research and evaluate new security technologies and products to enhance the company's overall security posture. Manage and maintain relationships with external security agencies and law enforcement. Act as a point of contact for all cyber security-related inquiries. Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of cyber security initiatives and projects. Mentor and train junior cyber security team members.
