Responsibilities

Create high-quality designs for weekend experiences, sermon series, digital content, social media, and special projects
Collaborate with the Creative Director, writers, and programming teams to develop strong visual concepts that communicate messages clearly and creatively
Help lead the design direction for campaigns and series—contributing to concept development, look and feel, and execution
Maintain and elevate the visual standards of the church’s brand across all platforms
Execute designs across multiple formats (broadcast, social, web, print, environmental) with excellence and consistency
Provide creative feedback and direction to other designers and freelancers
Partner with video teams, animators, and other creatives to bring cohesive, multi-platform experiences to life
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Prepare and deliver final files for production across various media

Requirements

Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of design, typography, and layout expertise
Proven ability to lead design projects and contribute to creative direction
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong understanding of branding, visual systems, and storytelling through design
Ability to operate with both creative vision and executional excellence
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
High attention to detail with a commitment to excellence
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice-to-haves

Experience working in a non-profit environment or ministry setting
Knowledge of motion design or animation
Experience designing for broadcast or large-scale environments
Familiarity with social media trends and digital-first design strategies
Experience working with AI-assisted design tools
